Five years ago, Dr. Granite and I opened Eagle Animal Hospital with the vision of a practice with a family oriented approach to veterinary medicine. A practice where we could form lasting relationships with our staff, our clients and their pets. Even after five years, it feels like only yesterday when we were excited, and a little scared, to start our new adventure in veterinary medicine as practice owners. Never could we have imagined how great it would be to have our own practice and we owe it all to you: our staff, clients, and patients.
Eagle Animal Hospital has come a long way since January 2008. We have made many advancements in staff, services, and equipment that we are very proud to offer our clients.
Our staff is the best! Dr. Granite and I have worked in several different veterinary hospitals over the years and have never had the pleasure of working with such a dedicated, caring, skillful group. They truly make our hospital what it is today. They continue to learn in the practice as well as attend regular continuing education seminars so that they may offer our clients the best in veterinary care. Working with each of them has been a real privilege and we are proud to have them as part of our team.
We are proud to have instituted a comprehensive wellness program for our client's pets based on factors of age, health, activity and risk. We know not all pets are the same and therefore, want to treat each patient individually based on their needs and our clients expectations. This program includes thorough physical exams, vaccinations based on patient requirements and risk, wellness blood panels that are helpful in the early detection of disease, as well as client education to help in the prevention of disease. We want this wellness program to be a team effort between our Doctors, staff and you, our client.
Our hospital offers some of the latest treatment options for your pets. In order to provide these services, we have upgraded much of our equipment in the past 5 years. Our records are now 100% computerized. This allows us to keep our client and patient records neat, consistent and up to date. It also allows us to share our records efficiently with referring veterinarians and boarding facilities. Also, we have upgraded our website. Check it out at eagleanimalvet.com. Look to the Petportal Link to be able to manage your pet's health online as well as to get your pet's food and medications on our new online pharmacy. We now offer digital x-rays. This is the most advanced equipment available for x-rays to date. Digital x-rays offer very detailed, high quality images of your pet with minimal stress, time and radiation exposure. Digital x-rays allow us to share x-rays easily via email to to referring veterinarians and board certified radiologists for review. We have upgraded our dental equipment too. We use the top of the line ultrasonic scaler and polisher to clean your pet's teeth. This equipment allows our skilled technicians to perform professional grade dentals that ensure your pet's oral health.
While we are proud of our past, we will continue to improve and expand our services at Eagle Animal Hospital. Some exciting prospects for the new year include: Grooming Services and new surgical services for Cranial Cruciate Ligament Repair in dogs.
We would like to thank our wonderful staff, our fantastic clients and their tremendous pets for making all this possible. As we move into our next five years, we are ever more excited about the future of Eagle Animal Hospital.
