We are writing to express our extreme satisfaction with the Veterinary care you and your staff have given our dog, Frasier, since you took over the Eagle Animal Hospital a few years ago.

As you know, Frasier has had more than his fair share of visits to the office. You provided great preventative care when he was a younger and healthier dog, but it's been within the past year that we have come to depend on your guidance and judgment in a more profound way. You diagnosed his tender mouth as a possible sign of cancer, which it indeed turned out to be. You talked us through all the information and treatment options, after hours and at length on the phone. You referred us to the wonderful surgeon who performed his jaw amputation and saved his life. You coordinated care with that doctor so that we never had to make confusing medical interpretations, and you talked us through the difficult transitions to caring for a handicapped animal. The compassion that you and your wonderful, kind, and competent staff showed us - and Frasier especially - was a tremendous comfort during that very trying and emotional time.

You would think that a dog would be timid about visiting the vet's office after such a trauma, but the opposite is true. Frasier LOVES his visits. The only time he eagerly jumps into the car is when he knows that's where he is going! Unfortunately that is now a weekly event, as you are treating him with chemotherapy for yet another cancer, and only a few short months after losing his jaw. Despite the fact that he is subject to weekly needles and infusions and hours at the office, he is thrilled to be there. His "ladies" give him lavish attention and love, which he thrives on. Each and every one of them goes out of there way to make him feel special and adored. Despite his serious condition, he truly acts as though he is going to Doggie Daycare instead of the doctor's office.

Lastly, this past month your team went above and beyond even their normal exceptional level of care when they expressed concern about Frasier staying at a kennel for a week with his compromised immune system while we took a long-planned-for vacation. Donna, the office manager, called a former employee to see if they could dog sit in our home. Dr. Granite, called a "summit" with the staff to brainstorm options. The final solution was that Taryn, one of the techs, volunteered to take Frasier home with her for the week!! We were thrilled and relieved, and knew we had nothing to worry about while away, as Frasier would be lavished with care, attention and love. He even got to go into the office on most days to "play" with his "ladies" and the cat!

We enthusiastically recommend you and Eagle Animal Hospital to everyone we talk to. We are profoundly grateful that we are in such competent and caring hands.
