Welcome to the first blog post of the Eagle Animal Hospital, a Chester Springs veterinary hospital that has been serving the local community since 2008. Our blog opens one more avenue of communication between our veterinarian, staff and our patients, an avenue that will be packed with topics as diverse as our knowledge. Headed by Dr. David Matunis and Dr. Jennifer Granite, our animal vet clinic caters to the needs of dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets, rats, hamsters and other small pocket pets, but our blog subjects are slated to include information on all things animal that can benefit pet owners and animal lovers everywhere.
We are primed to share our experiences relating to animals in the Exton, Downingtown and Glenmoore communities and beyond. We will translate our veterinary hospital services, knowledge and experience into informative and valuable blog topics including pet dental care, spay and neuter and other surgeries, cardiology, internal medicine, oncology, ophthalmology, dermatology -- just to name a few. Our veterinary team is also eager to share information on the latest advances in veterinary medicine offered by our clinic, such as digital radiography, advanced anesthesia monitoring, comfortable recovery and state-of-the-art modern surgical equipment.
Preventative health care is another hot topic for pet owners, and our animal hospital emphasizes the importance of pet wellness as a way of life. Proper nutrition, adequate exercise, regular vaccinations and exams are all part of a comprehensive wellness plan, with each plan tailored to a pet's specific needs.
Animal news, views and issues are set to be a big part of our blog, as is some of the background and responsibilities of the modern vet. Dr. Matunis and Dr. Granite are both graduates of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine and keep up with the most recent technology, procedures, preventative care and animal issues affecting pets today.
