Eagle Animal Hospital Updates

Friday, December 22nd

We are happy to announce that Eagle Animal Hospital is reopening and ready to provide care for your beloved pets once again.

While we work on rebuilding at our original hospital location on Byers Road, we will begin opening in phases. During the first phase, we will be working out of a temporary trailer, just around the corner, located at 20 Senn Drive, Chester Springs. We will begin scheduling appointments beginning Wednesday morning, December 27th.

We have a concrete plan to relocate to a more permanent office building adjacent to the trailer at 20 Senn Dr by mid-February. This move will enable us to fully restore our capabilities, including performing surgeries, dentals and offering grooming services. This means all current surgery, dental and grooming appointments will remain postponed until then. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and assure you that we are doing all we can to return to our full capabilities as soon as possible.

Given the limited space available in this trailer, we kindly request that clients check in by texting the office. This will allow us to minimize phone traffic and make the most efficient use of our space. Please text the office phone number (610) 458-8789 upon arriving at the hospital. A technician will speak with you over the phone to collect a history for the appointment, then will escort you to the exam room.

Additionally, we are offering the option for fully curb-side appointments. If you prefer this option, please notify the receptionist when scheduling your appointment. This means that you will not need to come into the trailer with your pet, and our doctors will call to discuss the necessary care while you wait in your vehicle. A curbside appointment eliminates the need for an available exam room, so there is a chance that our doctors will be able to accommodate your pet sooner. This can help reduce wait times and allow us to address your concerns accordingly.

We kindly request that you call ahead to order your pets' medications and preventions. This will allow us to have them ready for you, ensuring a quick and efficient transaction. In some cases, we can even arrange for pre-payment over the phone, and curbside pick-up, making your visit even more streamlined.

We understand that this transition may cause some inconvenience, and we appreciate your cooperation and understanding during this challenging time. Our dedicated staff will be doing their best to address your needs and ensure the same positive experience for both you and your pets that you have always known.

We sincerely thank you for your continued support and patience throughout this unexpected ordeal. Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.

We cannot wait to welcome you back!

Warm regards,

The Doctors and staff at Eagle Animal Hospital

Friday, December 1st

First and foremost, we want to express our heartfelt thanks for your continued trust and loyalty throughout the past few weeks. Your support has been instrumental in helping us navigate the challenges we face after the unfortunate fire that affected our beloved veterinary hospital. We are thrilled to share that we have been diligently working on plans to rebuild our facility and come back stronger than ever. The rebuilding process is well underway, and we are committed to creating a state-of-the-art veterinary hospital that will not only meet but exceed the expectations of our valued clients and their cherished pets.

Here are some highlights of what you can expect from our new veterinary hospital:

1. Enhanced Facilities: Our new hospital will feature modern and improved facilities, ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for your pets.

2. Cutting-Edge Technology: We are investing in the latest veterinary technology to provide the highest standard of care for your furry family members.

3. Expanded Services: In response to the evolving needs of our clients, we will be introducing new services to better cater to the health and well-being of your pets.

4. Dedicated Team: Our experienced and compassionate team of veterinarians and staff will continue to be the heart of our practice, delivering the same level of care and attention your pets deserve.

We understand the importance of our role in the community, and we are committed to reopening our doors as soon as possible. We will be seeing appointments in our on site trailer in approximately 2 weeks. Also, we have acquired a temporary building around the corner to use in approximately 8 weeks for complete veterinary medical and surgical needs, while we rebuild.

In the meantime, we appreciate your patience and understanding. Our team remains available for any questions or concerns you may have. Your support has been a driving force behind our efforts, and we cannot wait to welcome you back to our new and improved veterinary hospital.

Wednesday, November 22nd

As we reflect on the recent events at our veterinary hospital, we are overwhelmed with gratitude for the tremendous support we have received from clients like you.

Your concern, kind words, and offers of assistance have meant the world to us and has touched the hearts of our entire veterinary team, and we are sincerely grateful for your unwavering support.

While the physical damage to the hospital was significant, we are working tirelessly to find a nearby alternative location or temporary on-site housing to continue providing the highest level of care for your pets. Fortunately, all our records are digital and saved so we have access to all your pet’s medical information. We also have all our veterinary software back up and running and are able to stay in touch with text messaging and emails.

We are committed to maintaining the standards of excellence you have come to expect from our veterinary practice.

Currently, all voicemails and text messages will be replied to within one business day. Starting Monday, we will be answering phone calls during our regular business hours. We will be scheduling phone consultations with our doctors next week as well.

Our goal is to start appointments, in person, in approximately 2-3 weeks. Obviously, there is a lot to do between then and now so we cannot guarantee this timeline, but strive to get back to in person consultations as soon as absolutely possible.

Again, both our friends at Ludwig’s Corner Veterinary Hospital and Foxfield Veterinary Services will be assisting you with any necessary appointments and urgent medication refills. Our online pharmacy is always available through our website for your non-urgent prescription refills. VRC will also be able to fill same day medication refills, but will require a visit with a doctor. VRC was able to cut down their typical exam fee to a $55 charge, in the case that they determine your pet only needs to be seen for a brief exam. Urgent care fees through VRC will remain the same.

Once again, thank you for your support, understanding, and kindness during this difficult time. We look forward to serving you and your pets with the same dedication and care that have been the pillars of our practice.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. We value your feedback and are here to assist in any way we can.

Wishing you and your furry companions a very happy Thanksgiving!

Warm regards,

Dr. David Matunis, Dr. Jennifer Granite and all the staff of Eagle Animal Hospital
